Full-Time Maintenance Engineer

Department: Facilities
Location: Little Rock, AR

Position Summary:

Fellowship is currently seeking an experienced Facilities maintenance professional to join our team. This position performs work order systems-based maintenance tasks and projects, provides upkeep related to buildings and grounds on five central Arkansas campuses, and provides support for daily church events as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Complete tasks primarily at the West Little Rock Campus with occasional tasks at our four other church campuses in central Arkansas
  • utilize computerized work order management and scheduling
  • HVAC system and equipment maintenance (operation, diagnosing, repairs, adjustments, cleaning)
  • Building automation system operation
  • Carpentry/hardware, painting, drywall
  • Minor electrical and plumbing repairs
  • Maintenance on building exteriors
  • Irrigation system operation
  • Periodic on-call for emergencies
  • Other related projects/duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Three years commercial facilities maintenance experience
  • Trade school with certification(s) preferred

Knowledge and Skills:

  • General working knowledge of maintenance, repairs, and projects for commercial facilities systems (mechanical, electrical, plumbing)
  • Experience using a computer for work order management, sending and receiving emails, research for parts and products, and completing organizational requirements such as entering time and leave, expenses, etc.
  • Experience in diagnosing and repairing various HVAC system components, and using HVAC building automation system (BAS)
  • A valid Arkansas driver's license, and ability to pass a driving record check in order to drive church vehicles
  • HVAC-related, and other trade certification(s) is highly preferable
  • Align with Fellowship Bible Church’s mission and values

The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
