Receptionist

Department: Human Resources
Location: Little Rock, AR

Position Summary:

The Receptionist at the West Little Rock campus is responsible for greeting and assisting staff, the church body, and visitors via phone conversations and face-to-face interactions.. This position is part-time.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Assist staff, church body, and visitors by receiving and responding to all phone calls and connecting them to the appropriate ministry area/person
  • Personally greet guests that come to our campus in a Christ-like manner and direct them to the appropriate area/person
  • Distribute the mail and organize boxes from deliveries
  • Assist with special projects from church ministries
  • Assist with training for substitutes and newly hired Receptionists
  • Send email and Teams messages to staff
  • Keep front office area tidy
  • Other related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma (required)

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • Strong organizational and administrative abilities
  • Strong communication skills

  • Signed acknowledgement of Fellowship Bible Church’s “Confession of Faith” form
  • Signed acknowledgement to policies and procedures as stated in Fellowship Bible Church’s Employee Manual
  • Living out the spiritual principles outlined in the “Code of Conduct”

The employee frequently is required to use hands or fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.

Work Schedule:

  • 19 hours/week every other week and 5 hours one Friday/month
